We are back!

And this month we are all about Mama's.

Mama's are normally behind the camera taking pictures of our sweet faces.

So, how about a photo session dedicated to just us!

 

To get dressed up in a fun spring-y outfit and pose around down town

would be so fun and freeing.

This would be my ideal outfit for my photo session,

and I think I would love to have my photos taken down at Vinoy Park

in St. Pete or anywhere downtown really, it is always so pretty down there

it it makes a great backdrop with no extra work.

You can't go wrong with a bright statement necklaces and pretty accessories.
Accessories can totally make a photo stand out depending on what you pick out with your outfit
make sure the accessory you pick isnt too overbearing though.
You don't want it to take away from your pretty face.

If you have been wanting to get photos of just you but just have not gotten around to it,
do it now!
Why not?!
But you may want to hurry because Christina gets booked up really quick,

February is the month of Love.

But its also the month to wear my favorite color palette out.

If I could wear pink and red together every day I would.

My closet just doesn't have that much red.

It is stocked up with pinks of all shades, but I will have to work on picking up some staples for February.

Needless to say I enjoyed putting this Valentines Day outfit together for your upcoming photo shoot.

To have an outfit of love was what this cupid was going for.

The girls are a bit dressy and the guys are dressed down. 

Which is pretty much how a lot of date nights go.

At least in our house.

To add a bit of fun to your whimsy love to your photo shoot you could bring with you some heart bunting, chalkboard sign to write love notes on, or some 

big paper hearts to hold.

Family Foto Fancies::Fall Is In The Air::

It's October

and Fall is in the air.

It's time for pumpkins,

cold weather,

jackets, sweaters, scarves,

changing colors of the leaves,

and don't forget about your family photo shoot.

Here at Nap Time Is the New Happy Hour

I have put together some fall inspired outfits for the whole family.

And what is great is that the outfits all coordinate

without being too matchy.

 Notice the yummy fall colors.

The "adult" look is probably my favorite.
The boots add the extra kick of a Fall flare.

Every couple should have a nice photo of two of them.
A nice warm wool blanket would add a perfect romantical touch to this fall photoshoot.

The kids look is pretty easy.
A nice sweater dress with some tights, and again boots, and long sleeves
will make any outfit feel like fall.

Wouldn't some frockling in a pumpkin patch be fun?!
The kids would love it and it would be ther perfect setting for a family shoot.

Family Foto Fancies::Putting the Fun In Photo Shoots::

Family Foto Fancies

is back and more fun than ever!

Christina Higman of Christina Higman Photography

has one creative eye.

In picking out this edition we decided on a more fun and whimsical idea for a photo shoot.

And her ideas and photos do not disappoint.

For example,

what little girl wouldn't love to run around in an open field with a tutu and fairy wings?!

And the shot with the girls Mama are pure sweetness.

And when you add in some bubbles, balloons, and sweet treats,

it is sure to make for some adorable photos.

The tent just might be my personal favorite.

Think of your kiddos frolicking around with a big batch of balloons in hand

and peeking out of that adorable little tent.

This would be the perfect boy shoot.

The girls can have their fairies and the boys can have the tent.
